SUMMARY:The Stingray Shuffle

With a warm voice\, deft guitar work\, and a deep respect for the traditions of jazz\, blues\, and early soul\, Caplan draws inspiration from the likes of Joe Pass\, the Nat Cole Trio\, and Ray Charles.\n\nAt the heart of The Stingray Shuffle is Caplan’s fluid guitar playing and smooth vocals\, backed by a revolving cast of some of New Orleans’ most respected musicians. Whether in an intimate trio setting or a fuller ensemble\, the group delivers timeless grooves\, tasteful improvisation\, and a touch of Crescent City charm.\n\nEqual parts refined and relaxed\, The Stingray Shuffle brings an old-school sensibility to modern ears—swinging\, soulful\, and always steeped in the spirit of New Orleans.
